Regular sailing

Sailing days on local water

Regular casual sailing meets are arranged around sheltered local waters and ponds. Members bring their boats, set them up together, and spend the morning running them.

Sailing times adapt to coastal weather, with mutual safety always in mind. Spectators and prospective members are always welcome to drop by and watch.

Gatherings

Ways we meet

Sessions take a few simple formats, depending on the day and the weather.

Open running

Members sail their own boats freely across the water, sharing the pond and watching how each boat handles the wind.

Scale demonstrations

Boats are shown running at scale, with members explaining how their hull, rig and fittings work together.

Setup help

Experienced members help newcomers rig, ballast and prepare a boat before it goes on the water.
